Actually when i booked the hotel i was not expecting anything wow because it was just for a short stay to attend a wedding in Heraklion. But i was impressed with everything. First the host is so kind and helpful and she did her best to provide everything i needed during my stay and I really appreciated providing for me extra things based on my request for free. The location is good if you come by car, taxi or bus. Nearby you can find a lot of good restaurants, coffee shops, stores, mini markets and a very nice beach. The room was spacious and it has a good view to the garden and swimming pool. The bed was so comfortable for me and the weather was so cool so i didn't use the AC even. i enjoyed discovering the garden nearby and the swimming pool was an added value to the hotel. The Toilet was always clean. Check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. The value of money for what you get is so good.

It's a retreat that offers a heartwarming and personable stay that you won't find in the polished, impersonal spaces of more mainstream tourist spots. What truly sets this hotel apart, beyond its vintage charm, is the staff. These warm and welcoming individuals go beyond the norm to make you feel like a part of the family, hospitality of the multigenerational staff truly makes you feel at home.

The hotel was in a few minutes walk from Ammoudara beach, you only had to cross the street. if you left the hotel and turned right you were at a bus station and a few all-rounder shops. Really you had everthing you need. The breakfast had a wide range of options. Next to the hotel there was the pool they share with the restaurant. Both was very good and fully met my hopes. The gardens were also beautiful. I can only recommend.

The restaurant goes onto a pretty busy street about 100 m from the beach and the hotel is located away from the street so it's quieter and still close to a bunch of great restaurants. The street really came alive at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great and included dishes that were hand-prepared which was also a nice touch.

We spent 10 unforgettable days in an exotic hotel “Violetta”. The hosts are exceptionally hospitable, the breakfast with domestic pies was amazing! The apartment was very clean, the terrace is so nice and the saloon is like from the movies. We will come back to this magical hotel for sure! Special regard to the host and the girl who works at taverna “Pergola”. Viva la Greece - Viva la Serbia!
